Cheryl Cole Reveals “Only Human” Cover and Tracks; Premieres “I Don’t Care” + “Only Human”

Only Human, the forthcoming 4th solo studio album from former Girls Aloud member and current The X Factor UK judge Cheryl Cole, is set for a release on November 7th in the United Kingdom.

Preceded by the United Kingdom number 1 single “Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah)”, a seemingly vibrant yet undoubtedly flat track , Only Human will likely follow suit and become a number 1 album for Cole in the UK.

That doesn’t mean it’ll be solid. I mean, have you heard the album’s second single? Hopefully not.

“I Don’t Care”, which was written by Bonnie McKee (the famed writer who penned all of those annoying Katy Perry #1s from the Teenage Dream era) and John Newman, was premiered on French radio on October 1st. It will officially impact UK radio stations on November 9th as the album’s second official single. While it should easily reach #1 on the UK Singles Chart (since they seem to absolutely love her there), it is worth noting that this is one of the dumbest songs she has ever recorded. I can’t tell if it’s her voice or  If you thought “Crazy Stupid Love” was iffy, think again. This will easily make my list of least favorite tracks of 2014.

Listen below.

While that might have all been fairly negative, there is still hope left for the album. A short trailer that Cheryl released earlier today features another brand new track that shows some signs of promise. In addition, her album tracks tend to be decent so maybe there’ll be another hit stuck in somewhere on the album.

Check out the 30 second album teaser featuring a brand new song below. As a note, this video is unlisted on Youtube which makes it harder to find again so make sure to come back here when you want to see it again!

Update: The track is called “Only Human” and is available on iTunes UK now. You can download it here. This is easily one of her best tracks to date, a massive step up from “I Don’t Care” and “Crazy Stupid Love”.
